A Special Experience

What a child learns at our Schools –

To get along…with teacher and other children & to be cheerful, cooperative, courteous and fair.

To look at books, to love them… to recognize print…to find out what he says can be written
down and read.

To use new words… drawn from trips, experiences, from talking about films, books & pictures.

To spot differences… in colours…pictures…sizes…shapes…sounds.

To care for himself and his belongings… to attend to his/her own bathroom needs…to hang up his/her clothes…to return each toy and tool to its place at pick-up time.

To count… number of children in the class…books needed for story time…how many children can fit at the play table.

To play vigorously outdoor… developing good physique…taking turns…learning the rules.

To eat with others… to relax…to practise good manners…to enjoy new foods.

To care for pets and plants… what they eat…how they grow…keeping them clean/watered.

To think of others…. a gift for Mother… a note to a sick classmate.

To protect himself… and to know those whose duty is to protect him.
